Today, March 22, is World Water Day and at Nutrición Sin Fronteras we want to join the campaign to raise awareness and reflect on water.
The current drought context makes this task more urgent than ever so that the general public becomes aware of what they can do at an individual level.
In our case we wanted to focus on two main actions that citizens can take at the food level to promote more responsible water consumption:
1. Consume agricultural products that require less water to be grown.
2. Reduce food waste to take advantage of the water used to grow these products.
