GENDER JUSTICE
At Nutrition Without Borders, we work for gender equality and the empowerment of women, which is an essential component of our NGO's commitment to society.
ā
The tool to achieve the objectives in this area is the strengthening of training. It is a transformation process aimed at providing knowledge, techniques, and tools to develop skills, and changes in attitudes and behaviors.
ā
Throughout all the projects implemented by NSF, the integration of a gender perspective and human rights is taken into consideration in all our actions. In fact, it has been demonstrated that there is a feminization of poverty. Alternatives are promoted for women to escape these conditions of vulnerability, having a positive effect on the entire family and their environment.
ā
Our actions promote gender equality. For the past 2 years, we have had a Gender and Human Rights Integration Strategy at NSF, which is applied to all our programs and projects, ensuring that these perspectives are mainstreamed into all activities, areas, and content.
