The "Comparteix el Menjar" program has grown in donors during 2025

During 2025, the "Comparteix el Menjar" program has continued to grow in response to the increase in demand for food by the social entities of the province of Barcelona. To date, the program has incorporated 10 new donors, broadening the range of companies committed to fighting against food malpractice and the right to adequate nutrition.

Thanks to this growth, the program has been able to collect and redistribute a total of 39,166 kg of food during 2025, donating to the growing needs of social entities that care for people in vulnerable situations.

In addition to increasing response capacity, the incorporation of our donors has allowed us to increase the variety of foods distributed, especially fresh products such as fruits and vegetables, thereby contributing to a healthier, more dignified and balanced diet.

2025 consolidates, even more, the collaboration model of the Comparteix el Menjar program, demonstrating that the sum of efforts between the social sector and the food sector has a social but also environmental impact, with a stagnation of more than 148,000 kg of CO2 emissions.
