Comparteix el Menjar, what is it?
Through the Share the Food project, NSF has been working for 12 years to recover surplus food from hotels, restaurants, caterers, and supermarkets to meet the food needs of social organizations in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
This project began in 2012 with the goal of reducing food waste. Share the Food promotes access to healthy food for at-risk individuals facing social exclusion in the Barcelona area through awareness and action to prevent food waste, thereby reducing the ecological footprint.
