During the month of April we have started a new series of talks given by the Nutrition Without Borders volunteer Montserrat Banqué, a doctor specialising in nutrition, with one of the new entities with which we have begun to collaborate, the Open Social School of the Diocesan Caritas of Barcelona.
This cycle began last Wednesday, April 17, with a session dedicated to talking about healthy eating and how to organize the refrigerator at home. The day was very interesting thanks to the participation of the attendees, which generated a very enriching debate for everyone and the resolution of many doubts.
The second session, on the other hand, was dedicated to talking about food waste and what we can do in our homes, paying special attention to being able to read the expiration and best before dates..
Once these first two talks have finished, we will begin a second cycle consisting of three sessions that will take place during May and which are expected to provide tools on child nutrition.
