For 13 years, the “Comparteix el Menjar” program of Nutrition Without Borders has been taking advantage of the surplus food from hotels, restaurants, catering companies, schools and food distributors to distribute to social entities that care for people in vulnerable situations.

Based on the awareness-raising and training work that we have been carrying out in recent times, as well as through the increasingly stronger commitment by public administrations to raise awareness on this issue, during 2024 at NWB we have seen how the food donations we have distributed have increased by 34% compared to 2023, going from 32,000 kg to 42,000 kg this year.

This helps us to give value to our work, but it also makes us see the need to continue working to meet the growing demand for food by social entities, as well as the desire to participate in the creation of a new, more sustainable food model.
During 2025, we will continue to work tirelessly to guarantee everyone the right to healthy and sustainable food.
