Comparteix el Menjar, what is it?
Through the Comparteix el Menjar (Share the Food) project, NSF has been working for 10 years to recover surplus food from hotels, restaurants, caterers, and supermarkets to meet the food needs of social organizations in Barcelona and the metropolitan area.
This project began in 2012 with the goal of reducing food waste. Comparteix el Menjar promotes access to healthy food for at-risk individuals facing social exclusion in the Barcelona area through awareness and action to prevent food waste, thereby reducing ecological footprint.
