Promoting products at fairs to gain sustainability

One of the most positive impacts of the project in Rufisque Norte (Senegal) that we have financed with resources from the Gobierno de Canarias, has been the strong dynamism of the women of the maison rouge in being able to promote not only the transformation of cereals, but also the improvement of their packaging and marketing. In fact, throughout 2024 they have attended several fairs to promote their products and this has led to the opening of orders from new clients that will allow progress in sustainability.

Specifically, we would like to highlight that this November, the Rufisque Nord Transformative Women Network was able to present its products within the framework of World Entrepreneurship Week.

This global initiative seeks to strengthen entrepreneurial culture, and in which events and activities are held simultaneously in 180 countries, with the aim of inspiring entrepreneurs, providing tools and networking. We highly value the qualitative growth that this represents for them, a group of women from the peripheral neighborhoods of the metropolitan city of Rufisque Nord, since they are the protagonists of the community improvement of the neighborhood.
