Colaboration with Universitar Ramon Llull, Blanquerna to raise awareness about food waste.

In November of 2023, the director of Nutrition Without Borders (NSF) Núria Camps attended the Universitat Ramon Llull, Blanquerna to explain the work of Nutrition Without Borders to the students of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. From that talk, the students have been preparing some visual materials to embody the content that they found most relevant and that could therefore be more useful for the NGO when doing the training and awareness work.

This activity concluded last November 11, 2024, where Dra. Montserrat Banqué, NSF volunteer, attended the university again to present to the new students of the degree the posters produced by the students of the previous year.

In addition, following last year's model, he explained the current needs of the entity, with the aim of being able to serve as a context for students, through a service-learning activity, to create an infographic on food waste, material that will once again serve as a tool to raise awareness and train the volunteers and users of the entities collaborating with NSF.

Next, we share with you the final version of the posters created from the students' work from the previous year, some infographics that talk about gluten-free food and tips to avoid food waste, and which are an example of how the academic work can contribute to our awareness and training work.
