MISSION VISION
The mission of Nutrition Without Borders is to contribute to the reduction of nutritional inequalities worldwide based on human rights, through cooperation, training, and capacity building. We promote the balanced use of food resources and solidarity among peoples, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
HISTORY
Nutrition Without Borders was founded by a multidisciplinary group of healthcare and social professionals and academics with the purpose of working to reduce malnutrition worldwide. The organization began its work under the auspices of the Spanish Society of Community Nutrition (SENC) and the UNESCO Chair in Research, Planning, and Development of Health Systems at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), aiming to address current nutritional needs from the public health perspective.
