Last January 24, Nutrition Without Borders had the opportunity to participate in a talk organized by the Associació de Solidaritat i Ajuda Veïnal de Rubí (ASAV), where we talked about two fundamental issues: food waste and food healthy

During the session, we reflected on the environmental, economic and social impact of food waste, a problem that affects both developed countries and those with fewer resources. We also shared practical tips for reducing waste in households, including better meal planning, making use of leftovers, and the importance of understanding best-before and best-before dates. We also emphasized the importance of a balanced and sustainable diet, proposing accessible and healthy alternatives to improve the quality of the daily diet. The session was well attended by the audience, who showed great interest in strategies to consume more responsibly and improve their eating habits.

From Nutrition Without Borders, we want to thank ASAV for its collaboration and all the people who attended for their involvement and desire to learn. We will continue to work to promote a more conscious and supportive diet, thus contributing to a more sustainable future for everyone.
